Horse Riding

Teach Me Happy’s farm setting incorporates horses, goats, dogs and cats offering a nurturing, hands-on learning environment for all our pupils. Through carefully structured activities such as grooming, feeding, and guided interaction, children are encouraged to build confidence, develop communication skills, and regulate their emotions in a calm, outdoor setting. Horses provide opportunities for connection, trust, and sensory engagement, while goats bring a playful and approachable element that helps reduce anxiety and promote curiosity. With experienced staff who tailor each session to the individual needs of the child, this type of provision supports personal growth, social development, and well-being in a way that feels meaningful, inclusive, and enjoyable.

As a BHS-approved riding centre, our provision provides a welcoming and supportive environment, offering bespoke riding lessons tailored specifically for individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). With highly trained instructors who understand the importance of patience, communication, and adaptability, each session is carefully designed to meet the unique physical, emotional, and cognitive needs of every rider.
